Pentair Home App is messing up the running of my Pentair Intelliflow pool pump

The other day I was notified I had to switch from Link2O to Pentair Home App. Once I made the switched, my Pentair Intelliflow has had issues. It keeps going into pump override mode and not running at all or running at full speed. Anyone else having issues?

The only way I can correct this is by unplugging the pump from the Pentair Intelliconnect system so the app cannot manage it. Then it goes according to the schedule I have programmed in it.

I suggest you call Pentair support.

Both the Intelliconnect and the app are new products and seem to have their share of bugs.

I sent support an email from inside the app, they said I contacted the wrong division, I had to contact the pentairpool people. The app sent the email, not me.... you would think support would have forwarded it to the proper people but NO they did not. App is nothing but frustrations.

We've had nothing but issues since switching. I had 2 weeks were everything ran as expected, then boom, pump shows not active and shows not running when it is indeed running. My IC40 doesn't produce since it thinks the pump is off. I've spent 14 hours so far with Pentair Tech support on this with the only resolution is that they are drop shipping a replacement IntelliCenter out, but since June 5th there is no ETA. I've removed the RS485 connections for the pump and IC40 to the IntelliCenter to just get the pool running correctly.

The old Linko2 ran great until the switch.

I had that issue while trying to get salt cell to turn on. I was getting a message on the pump not the app saying too high of press. What i found was the filter pump changed from speed to flow in its settings. After an hour of trying to fix it in the app including shutting the breaker off a few times, on the pump go to menu, settings, then find where it says “flow” and change that to speed as the app uses rpm speed. The pump now goes according to schedule just fine but salt cell still will not turn on
