Dolphin Cable Swivel

I purchased a Dolphin S300i to replace my pressure side cleaner and I am happy with it for the most part. The one real issue I have is the cable swivel does not seem to be working and the unit gets tied up in knots. Is there something I can do?

Lay the cable out on the deck without kinks so it will feed into the pool evenly. I have the Warrior SE with the swivel and it works well so far. Also be aware of how you are recoiling the cable. There may indeed be a problem
with the swivel and someone else may have an answer for you. BTW, welcome to TFP! We are here to help with any pool questions!

The swivel on my Active 30i is very stiff. The part that actually turns is on the end with a piece of clear plastic. Something you can try: grasp the blue cable at one end of the swivel and turn the blue cable at the other end. I agree that in my case the swivel is pretty much useless.

Do not lube the gold plated terminals. Push the blue cable through the swivel and fill/lube the bottom and reasemble.

I'm seeing the same issue... like it's resisting swiveling and the cable tangles up after a couple of cycles, even with proper coiling (over-under, AV guy style).

Thank for this... will try it today.
