Honestly if I was managing a 120k gallon pool that's exactly what I would do. I have this testing done often in my work, costs about $175 $120 and will give you the whole spectrum of metals and micro/macro-nutrients. Not at all unreasonable for that kind of pool.

Lol no I just double-checked what we pay for that test and realized the 175 number included total N and soluble K2O.

Disassembly is a real pain ... then there's the cost of shipping, insurance, etc, etc. I say just call it what is is ..... Smurf's have been using the pool and not being good citizens by using the bathroom before going in ....

I'm sure the other people on here much smarter than me are on the right track with the copper... but is there any way it could be from your liner? Did you say it's some kind of pvc fabric liner? Try taking a rag and rubbing it hard against your liner under the water line, and see if it comes up blue.

If there is any sort of blue paint, that can cause blue color.

Almost definitely, we know that some to all of the color is copper because we can confirm that copper was added.

No there is no blue paint at all in the building or pool
