Timer to control everything?

i had a previous post that my salt generator suddenly stopped working. it seems there was a power surge that killed the PSU.
Question is...Is it ok to have my pool timer control my pool pump, heat pump and salt generator together?
never had an issue since the installation back in 2009

Your heat pump and filter pump are on separate breakers. I don’t see how they can be on the same timer.

They are. Everything comes on and off by the one timer

The mechanical timer can only control one 240V power source.

I don't think your HP is on a timer. It just turns on when it sees water flow.

That can very well be because it takes a few seconds to kick on. Makes sense
