Hi all, first post here and just in the process of building our pool in CT. We went with a 18x36 rectangle liner pool, we like the classic clean lines. Current plan is to do a 4' border and about 300sq ft patio on one of the narrow sides to tie the pool into our existing patio.

I am thinking either poured concrete with cantalever coping, or precast concrete - what does everyone think of precast concrete? I love that it gives us flexibility to fix and adjust the patio in case something shifts over time or needs repair, but I have no idea how it will look and what my options are. Is pre-cast concrete option more expensive, or worse in some ways? What's everyone's experience with this?

We love the look of pre-cast, and that's what we went with. But we had a major issue with the first batch (see post here), and our PB had to re-order and rip-out/re-do it. Major chipping, and even with the 2nd batch (see post here) there are chips (just not as many)...Just make sure it passes your QA/QC!
