Mounting a solar reel at the end of a round pool?

Who has pictures of how they have done it? Rolling the cover on and off the reel and pivoting off the pool is the bane of my existence
Just did this recently. Here’s what mine looks like.

The reel is a GLI whirlwind. I’m still waiting on the metal base that should be on top of my posts, but they are backordered so the pics show my makeshift temporary solution.

The posts are 4x6 treated. Spaced 25 feet apart for my 24ft pool.

It works pretty well, except that the cover likes to pull toward the center of the pool when rolling it up. So I have to go from side to side periodically to pull it back out toward the outside. In total it takes 3 or 4 minutes to cover the pool and about 5 minutes to uncover it.

This is exactly what I’m looking for. Do you have any troubles getting the cover over the top rail?

It will get stuck briefly where the rail overhangs the pool, and I have to lift it over. But it’s not bad. Basically twist a few times to start rolling, and as soon as the cover starts pulling up I just lift it over the lip of the rail and then start cranking again.

I should also add that I had to buy longer straps than what came with the reel. I used this and it was a perfect replacement:
