Impossible to change waterline tiles?

The water color comes from the plastic, not the tile. Personally, I think it looks great! I recently had my pool replastered and re-tiled. I regret the tile color I chose, it's much darker than it looked like in the showroom. The cost to redo it outweighs my regret, so I've learn to live with it. I know it looks great, but it wasn't what I imagined. Nobody knows my regret though, I just keep it to myself ;).
Thank you and I am so sorry you ended up regretting yours too, it’s a horrible feeling that I don’t wish on anyone. But I completely understand why the cost outweighs the regret, it’s the smarter answer.

I am making progress though, I’ve managed not to tell a handful of people who think it’s pretty that I hate it :ROFLMAO:

I think it looks beautiful, but I also love your inspiration. I’m curious - why did you choose the large tiles?
I didn’t love the tile from the picture when I saw it in our backyard. I would have just picked another glass tile but He really didn’t want glass tiles and our pool guy was on his side. And honestly I wasn’t so attached to the idea of glass tile that it was something I wasn’t fine with as long as I could find a 6x6 tile I liked.

I also ended up with mosaic tiles in the spa and the tile I wanted for the house in the deal so it was worth it

I guess when you compare it to what you wanted there is a difference and I understand expectations. On the other hand I don't hate it. It is a very nice blue pool. I know the majority of the time you are enjoying the pool or seeing it are likely daylight hours, but change out the bulb again if it isn't already LED, put an LED bulb in and use one of the dark blue settings. It'll be all you dreamed of every evening as the sun sets.
This is a wonderful idea of course and is pretty much what we said to each other after we realized it was wrong and were told we couldn’t fix it without redoing it all. We were like well, we won’t like it during the day but it’ll be pretty at night.

And then it all went sideways again…

We have an Intellibrite 5G in the deep end and a Microbrite in shallow end. So pools finally full, it’s dark, let’s go turn it blue.

And …

Microbrite end looks purple, Intellibrite end looks blue.

We took a picture for our pool contractor and he’s dealing with it. But of course it’s made it much harder to deal with the disappointment. But luckily this is one we can fix right away.

Wow - that is a difference and I would expect a close match. Hope he can at least get the nice consistent deep blue at night. Very nice looking pool.

The Color is Aqua Sky
This is taken mid afternoon when our pool is in full sun. I do have pictures of other times of day and a short video as well. If you think it's a color you might be interested in and would like to see them please just let me know.

And thank you. Most people have actually said they like it. I think it's just really hard to let go of the vision we had in our minds of what it was supposed to look like. We've decided we're going to redo it in the next couple of years. Who knows though, maybe it will grow on us!
I like it! The tiles look very similar to the tile I selected. What color/brand?
