Patches on plaster

Hi all, I had some issues earlier on with my plaster which were due to start up after construction where the hardness levels seemed to have been too low. The builder tried to have it acid washed which helped some but now I am seeing some new white patches which seem to be more prominent and aggressive. The pool is 6 years old. Any thoughts?

What does your warranty say it covers? White spots are just cosmetic.

I am not sure if this is covered specifically as I don't know what is causing this when my chemistry is balanced....
