New Honeywell AUBE Ti040 User. 3-Way Switch Question.

Hello TFP Pals.

First off, thanks to those who helped with supporting my installs of the Dewenwils Wifi Box.
I have since returned -THREE- after dealing with customer support.

Fine product if it works, but under every testing circumstance it appears I had a handful of duds. (Not surprising given the Amazon reviews, but still a little surprising.)

I've since moved onto the AUBE Ti040, as I've read others have added Wifi Functionality through it's three way switch feature.

The schematics are simple....

3 Way Line Load
COM TW L1 L2 L1 L2

The drawing shows one wire in and one out to the single pole switch.
But using a Wifi Switch I imagine it needs power as well?

Anyone tackled this one before?

You have to put a voltmeter between COM and TW and see if it provides 120V power that can be used by a WiFi switch. It all depends how it is designed.

The switch is presently powered at 120 volts.

When I put the multimeter between COM and TW - it registers as 12V DC and triggers the switch turning the machine on and off continuously until I remove the probes.

On the Sonoff I have Lead In, Out, Neutral In, Neutral Out, and Switch 1 and Switch 2.
I'm still playing here, but any suggestions would be beloved.

I don't fully understand what you are trying to do. Drawing an electrical circuit diagram is better then words.

A WiFi switch needs 120V hot and neutral lines to power the WiFi side and then it should just open and close a relay for whatever circuit is being switched.

So I guess where the complication may lie is how the AUBE / Honeywell Unit handles the 3 way switch.
In it's own wiring diagram the COM + tw (which I'm not sure what tw means) are hooked to a standard rocker toggle switch.

if I hook S1 to Com and S2 to tw, I get an endless loop of power turning on and off the load.

I've had some combination of Sonoff Wifi's Line out to Com, and Switch to tw which worked in the sense I could turn the box load on and off with Wifi- the only downside is the Wifi box itself was unaware of the state of the pump. Going to test a little more today and report back.

I have a Sonoff Mini (since I heard they were easier to Wire)

I just got off the phone again with AUBE, whom are not thrillingly helpful.
They claimed the COM is common, and tw is Three Way, and minimal power seems to be going through them.
Even though the schematic does not show ANY power going into them.

I've clocked 80 volts when the load is off and 600 when the load is on... which seems bizzare.
With my Auto select on my multimiter it registers as 9V DC.

Since the timer powers a digital clock, i'm guessing at one point there's some DC power running through the thing.

Turns out the 3 Way Switch is a Dry Relay. So, looking some devices that will possibly do that now.
