Hi, starting a pool reno in northern nj very soon and need to do something about the old steps. Deck was already paver’d new a few years ago so removing to go liner over steps is not an option. Fiberglass steps in good shape overall, a few surface defects including the golf ball bulge but no leaks. Advice, experience, options and any any local fellas who can assist are appreciated.

There is an epoxy/acrylic made for that. I met somebody who was going to pay the liner people to do it but they quoted him more than the liner so he did it himself. He said it was a pain, but worth it to save big. At they time they were done they looked really good. No idea how to track the guy down for questions.
