Pool pump running for 5 days straight

OK guys my pump has been running for 5 days straight while I try to balance my water and as of tonight water still has green tint. I added some calcium and muriatic acid today so I will be rechecking all the numbers tomorrow. My biggest concern is my pump. Is this OK to do or should I turn it off and let it rest. Man this refill and starting from scratch has been a big pain. Any help would be much appreciated!

Looks like you have a single speed motor. Unfortunately, if you are in the SLAM Process, it needs to run 24/7 until you pass all 3 SLAM criteria. If you had a 2-speed, you could leave it on low for less energy usage. The sooner you complete the SLAM, the sooner you can cycle the motor off & on to normal run times. For what it's worth, my pump runs 24/7 due to my location in the country with lots of surfac debris.

Pool pumps are designed to run continuously. Before he upgraded to a variable speed pump (which I had a heck of a time convincing him to do) my father ran his single speed IG pump continuously from April to October every year for the better part of a decade.

Quick question, I was reading the slam process and can't figure out what CC is. It's says needs to be below(.5) I believe but what exactly is it?

OK I read that article but how do you tests for CC? I don't believe I read it on my test kit. I have the tf-100 recommended here.

Yes you are right smh....I completely missed it. I did just rerun all my tests on my lunch break. I can see balancing your water is kind of a juggling act until you get the hang of it. The more and more I test the more I'm understanding what I'm doing. Water is still a bit green and a bit cloudy but I'm hard at it. On the bright side I can definitely finally see it start to clear up, and after 5d that makes me extremely happy. Big thanks to everyone that has helped me out so far. As soon as this pool turns clear I will be posting pics ?

Clean your filter cartridges if you haven't already. Note the CLEAN pressure reading after you re-install them and
anytime you’re 20-25% over that number, clean 'em again.
