Hi friends!

In the process of slamming. My CYA is 30 and my FC is now at 15. I'm new to the taylor k-2006c kit, but my CC was 1.2. My pool wasn't super cloudy, but had a bit of green on the slope of the deep end and bottom. It's now 8:26 where I am- how long should I wait before I test again?

Should I dump another 10L jug before going to bed for the night?

Thank you!

check every couple of hours if you can. The more the better and quicker it will be over. If you can't, then that is the way it is. The longer you keep the FC level at slam without going below the quicker it is over. Probably don't need to check cc, just maintain FC. No sense in using up chemicals checking cc.

You can test again hourly at first if you want... you will probably have lost enough to re-dose using PoolMath to dictate how much to use each time. As the algae starts to wane you'll find that you can go longer and longer between re-dosing as the FC lasts longer.

You want to do the FC test and re-dose *at least* 3x a day, but can do it more if possible

Thank you! I'll try that! Cheers!
