Hi. I'm receiving a "low salt/low temp" error message on my console. The salt level has been tested and is fine, and the pool is 90 degrees. Wondering if anyone else had has this error? Thanks in advance!

What test did you use to determine the saltwater level? The K-1766? That SWG is pretty basic. I think everything is integrated into the cell. If the salt level is correct, I suggest cleaning the cell and see if the error clears up. It is an easy cell to clean.

Hi, I used the test sticks and also had the pool company confirm. My SWG requests a level of 3000 and mine is showing ~3400. I cleaned the cell and the message cleared for a short period of time, but it is back. I'm starting to think it may be faulty. Thanks for your response.

Test/guess sticks are 100% worthless and the pool store isn't much better. The only test kit we recommend for salt testing is the K-1766.

The error message went from "low salt/low temp" to "check cell". I noticed the cell had a plate that was cracked in some places, so I purchased a new cell. The errors are gone and it's working well so far. Although, I still can't believe it only lasted 3 years.
