Hi all. I had the pool resurfaced in mid April. pH would rise above 8 very day and a half and kept it under control. I was told new plaster would cause this. All this time I had some air bubbles coming out of one return that I just today conquered with new o-rings on the Jandy 3 way feeding my pump. It wasn't a lot just some spurts very few seconds. Now, no bubbles in the pump and nothing coming out of the returns.
Question is could the constant bits of air coming out of the return have been helping the pH rise all this time? A few weeks after using SupremePlus sodium tetraborate product the pH seems to have been more stable as well.
Thanks for the opinions
