I can't unscrew my eyeball return

I have some of that magic lube II. I thought that was to make a watertight seal on like O-rings. I use that on my filter and pump and always find that makes it harder to unscrew

After doing some research online and calling the company this product seems like it would help. Any reason why I shouldn't get this?

I would just use the silicone lubricant. Maybe use a toothbrush to make sure that the threads are clean in the hole to reduce the chance that grit is the problem.

Mountain out of a mole hill. Just do not over tighten them and there will be no issues.

Yeah I tend to do that. I'm going to tighten softly and as someone suggested maybe a couple times a year unscrew it so it doesn't get stuck. I just bought this product, it's waterproof grease and is safe for drinking water!! Going to apply a small amount of this to the threads. Even called the company to make sure its good for plastics and they said yeah.

I have the same issue every year on my AG pool. I just loosen the outside threaded hose adapter and then I’m able to remove the eyeball return by hand. The outside threaded hose adapter jams up against the eyeball return fitting, preventing it, or making it extremely difficult, almost impossible to remove using conventional method like the eyeball return removal tool.
