Dolphin Supreme M Series Owner’s Club

I bought an M400 this week and have run it three times so far, twice with the accordion and once with the fine filter. I am very happy with the results and it is amazing how much material the fine filter picked up. It makes me think I need to add more sand to my filter.

It is not climbing the gunite walls very well though so I need to check on that. Brushing the sides is not a big issue for me but it would still be nice if it did it.

The Bluetooth app is pretty useless. It is too slow to respond to manual steering commands and I have not found any other function in it, am I missing something?

How cold is your water? I have read posts stating that cli bing ability varies with water temp.

I do not know M400 settings.
For M500 if you selected full cleaning 3 hours cycle, it climbed only with 1 to 4 or 1 to 5 ratio. I'm not sure that is related also with handle positioning.
Rest of time, slightly goes up and back to ground.
There is option with remote; clean only wall, then it is trying to clean only walls.
That is only option if you want to clean walls very well

It's on their Facebook site as well as I was in the store yesterday talking to the salesperson. It appears to be for in-store sales only.

There’s no details in which models and amount of rebates. I went to Maytronics US site and they have details from their 2017 rebates which is outdated. Was there a rebate form at the local pool store?

Just ordered a M400 from Marina. Rebate is $75 for the M400. M500 would've been $150 more net even after all rebates and didn't seem worth it for a few additional program options. Best price, no taxes and free shipping if out of state. Should have it by this weekend.

For those questioning the M400 climbing ability, my unit shows a big difference in climbing when using the different types of filters. It will nearly climb out of the pool when using the mesh, but will just barely break the surface when using the pleated ones. These are both done while the arm is positioned at the extreme angle. I think the pleated filter is so much more restrictive and slows its ground speed down also. Very pleased with my purchase so far. I have had Polaris pressure and suction side cleaners and an Aquabot Pool Rover before and the M400 blows them away. I have not had to use a manual vacuum this year. As far as the rebate, my dealer in Mississippi beat my best online price back in late March/early April and threw in an extra set of filters as well!

Got mine and ran it for first time yesterday. The Bluetooth phone app remote is a joke. I was expecting more features like programming and scheduling. It doesn’t even tell you how much time is remaining for the cycle. Aside from the tech piece, it definitely does its job well. It was climbing the walls and cleaning the waterline. I don’t think it covered every part during the 2.5 hour cycle but I’m sure it does eventually if you leave it to run everyday. I used the mesh filter for one and the pleated for the other slot. Was surprised at the amount of sand in both filters after just the first cleaning. This is replacing a pressure side Pentair Racer. Will only swap them out when we go on vacation and lock up the Dolphin.
