Hi Group,
I was trying to price out upgrading my current pool control system, to something that could be controlled through a mobile device. Currently everything in my pool (pump, lights, heater, etc.) is controlled through an Aqualink RS8 panel mounted inside my house, which I assume is hard wired to the control panel by the pool equipment, because when I turn off the breakers (separate box from the house) for my pool the panel inside goes off as well.
I'd love to be able to upgrade so I can control my pool with a mobile device, rather than needing to run in the house to the panel (especially if it doesn't break the bank). I see there are various iAqualinks systems, but from the website it is very unclear what I would need to upgrade.
Has anyone done this before. Would it be as easy as buying one of their antenna and wiring it to the same wires that are currently going to the aqualink RS8 panel?
Thanks for any help
