Latest chemistry: FC = 7.5, CC = 0, PH = 7.7, TA = 75, CYA = 40, CH = 225, salt = 3100, temp = 68, CSI = -0.36 (pool math).
Based on this I need to raise the CYA and CH.
My questions:
1 - Will my salt concentration as measured by my SWG sensor increase when I add 35# CaCl? If yes, is this 'useful' salt to the SWG or will I need to recalibrate it?
2 - Once I increase CH to 350 and CYA to 70, my CSI according to Pool Math will be -.25. Is this a good CSI? The biggest lever to get CSI closer to zero is to raise PH, but that is bad for the SWG and also swimmers eyes. BTW if I decrease PH to 7.5, the CSI goes to -0.43 which is getting close to the -.6 limit. What is the correct CSI to shoot for?
Thanks!
Tony
