New pool owner

OK so I just moved into a new house and they have a pool I have been trying for a few days to get it good but the cloudiness not go away

TA 80
CYA below 30
CH 350

And yes I bought a good test kit it's the Taylor K2006

I said I'm new to a pool so I am still learning any help would be appreciated

Welcome to TFP!!!

You want to raise the CYA to 30-40ppm and then follow the SLAM Process process.

PoolMath will help you to determine the amount of chemicals to add based on your test results.

You moved into a house that has CYA below 100+ and you've come here this quickly, and already own a good testing kit.... You are so far ahead of most new members I've seen since I joined. Great job on choosing the TFP easy way of life, before a Pool $tore screwed you over.

Can you add a signature with basic pool info? Look at mine and Jason's. Above ground vs below ground, pool surface type, pump and filter info, other equipment, etc. This will help everyone help you. Also click the show signature button next time you reply.
