Hello,
I currently have my 7th leak from the O-Ring under my multiport valve. I just replaced this O-Ring seal about 1 week ago, and it's leaking again. I can usually get it to stop by pulling the multiport valve off, repositioning the O-Ring, and tightening it back down. I'm really looking for a more permanent fix though. It seems to happen when water gets restricted to the pump/filter. Today the pump was running, but the water was extremely low and the system was sucking air instead of water, and I found it leaking between the multiport valve and sand filter. The last time it sprung a leak was when one of the kids got something stuck in the skimmer which also seemed to block the flow of water and the pump was once again sucking air causing another leak. Is this normal? Do I just need to be more vigilant about keeping the pool full and stuff out of the skimmer? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
