I'm on day 11 of SLAMing what was a literal swamp, and I think I can see light at the end of the tunnel (actually I can see the main drain!
). The water has turned a tint of bright green (as opposed to a muddy green two weekends ago), and the CC has dropped to 1.0.
Numbers: FC 13 ... CC 1 ... TC 14 ... CYA 30 ... TA 110 ... CH 200 ... pH 7.3.
My understanding is that when the CC drops to 0.5 or less. Presuming that the water is clear when that happens, I perform the OCLT, which I think involves measuring TC after sundown and again before sunup?
With the exception of the chlorine levels, I think the other numbers are close to target? What should I shoot for as far as TC once I pass the OCLT and the water is clear? I'm concerned because I will be away for four days this weekend, and if things progress as they have, it will be just about when I have completed the SLAM - I don't want to have to do-over because I wasn't around to watch it.
I appreciate any input and suggestions - unfortunately I have no one to pool sit in my absence :-(
