I have an 18' x 48" Intex Ultra-Frame pool - Intex SWG Filter
It has been up three weeks and I started having some issues with cloudy/slimy water. I came here and posted a question and found out I was supposed to have used some chlorine or bleach when starting it. We did the SLAM and I received by K-2006 test kit.
The water is now clear but when I add the powder to get the FC it does not turn pink at all. I also tested for CYA and the black dot at the bottom never goes away.
I am assuming according to pool math I need to get the CYA up before I will even read a correct FC level, is that correct? Once I get the stabilizer to the proper level should I slam again or just run the SWG?
I'm sorry I don't have the other readings with me but they are all okay. Just the FC and CYA are non-existent.
Thanks in advance!
