Slam - The last thing I needed right now

Any time!! I can relate to the medical/stress.... my husband about went nuts when I had my ruptured brain aneurysm and didn't know it. I waited three weeks before going to a doctor only to end up in emergency surgery that day which doc told my husband "she may or may not have function after"... he was trying to prepare himself... obviously I am fine now [emoji23][emoji23] but he went nuts and still freaks out if I get a headache of any type.... I feel for you so much [emoji173]

Tough times, Caco. I feel for you and family very much. The share bank of sick time is wonderful and a lot of employee groups could learn a lot from that. Very impressive. I hope it's not too long before they figure everything out.

Glad your SLAM is going smoothly

Good for you for standing up the the first guy......who knows how bad off he would be if you did not. Some one was looking out for you for sure to have that doc there. SO neat that the doc is listening to you and LOL on "I read that one and ordered test for it". You go girl!!!

Christina  have you heard the stats on B.A.??? You are on in a million to have survived it. WOW! Have a friend who survived one. She has major short term memory problems. She has overcome it but carrying around a small note book and writing down everything with date, time and name.

:( on back to the hospital.

Pool update - unknown

We have got so far off topic, its not funny, but thank you all for the stories and encouragement
Its helps to know that I am not alone and others have been through similar scary situations

Christina, I so understand you hubby and freaking out. I have had a few moments like that lately myself

 Hugs to everyone who has posted /messaged with support. You guys are all the best. Just another reason :lovetfp:

Caco, it is funny you should say "so far off topic". Yes we have BUT here at TFP we try to make it very friendly and home like. That is one of the things I love about TFP. It is not all "sorry that is not pool talk" and shut it down. So long as it is on your thread and you are okay with it.........it is all good. Now if, for some reason, you do not want it then we can/will do that also. It is the OP call.

We are here if you need us for the pool or to vent/purge your feelings and upset about your SO's health.

Kim:kim:

We are here

IMO part of pool care is self care too :) and being able to vent while doing pool care is awesome [emoji173][emoji173]

Swept pool, lots of green/grey debris on the bottom
Added enough chlorine up to FC 16 to give me a buffer as unsure when I will get to test tomorrow

Partner has been readmitted for the week at least
More blood tests and close monitoring of pulse and blood pressure
No one knows why he got to near total collapse yesterday as all test results look at or near normal???

Oh Buba that sux with the foot
I suggest a long soak in a cool pool with a cold adult beverage in hand
No wonder I never moved to Aussie, I think I would melt in those temps. Esp as all the jobs that were offered were in the middle of the deserts on remote sites

Thanks Needs for the support

Practising my texas accent... y'all guys rock :punkrock:

Think DEEP SOUTH! "Well bless her little heart!" with a smile and eyelash bat! LOL

I don't know what kind of dye I get when I get my MRIs. I know it is C.O.L.D going in "You don't feel that".........really?? Try again!

That's funny because when they do my angiograms and shoot dye in... it heats up the right side of my head [emoji23][emoji23] I lay there telling my neuro "my face is hot" lol

I know its been a while but things have been kinda crazy

Partner is on overnight leave from the hospital, no better and still no diagnosis

I am currently monitoring river levels rise and may have to work later tonight to organise an evacuation for a town due to flooding

I have only put a bit of chlorine in the pool now and again as really only been home to sleep. Algae is back to almost where it was
Added 10FC and will vacuum shortly and then test and dose with more FC if required
Then a quick nap, in case I have to work tonight

 I have been thinking about you and yours. Please know someone cares and understands some of what you are going through. I only wish I could give you a hug in real life and take care of the pool. At least that would be one thing you would not have to worry about :(
