Testing cold water

Quick question...my pool water is 50 degrees (Michigan). When I go to test it later this morning w/ my Taylor kit, am I good to test the water as-is or should I let the water sample warm up to room temperature first?

CYA is the one that is effected a bit by cold water. So yes, bring your sample in for a while to let it warm up a bit.

Definitely let the cya sample warm up.
The rest should be unaffected.
If you’re just opening you want to be sure the water has circulated a while (at least a few hours) before getting a sample.

....Then take the sample back outside to read it in daylight.
