Speedstir Magnetic stirrer

Thank you for the info Dom. LOL yes they do look like fun. I am Not using the SampleSizer BUT

According to what is in some of the descriptions on the vials:

I think the 1st link http://tftestkits.net/Taylor-Calibra...inder-p66.html is actually the one that is needed to do Any of the tests in. (No description available).

The 2nd link http://tftestkits.net/Graduated-Cyli...-only-p22.html is "used for the FAS/DPD chlorine and Combined Chloramines test."

The 3rd link http://tftestkits.net/Graduated-Cylinder-Plain-p23.html "is for All tests "OTHER THAN" for the FAS/DPD test."

So I think the one in Link 1 -the Taylor Calibrated Cylinder is the one that should be bought if you are wanting extra vials that Any of the tests can be performed in??

I'm not really sure what the differences in them are, they all appear to be the same size, and calibrated the same, but apparently there is something different about them making it OK to use for one test, and not ok for another.

Does anyone know why one of them Can be used for ALL the Tests, and yet the other 2 Can Not? Thank you.

Any vial can be used on the speedstir. But the diameters are different between the ones with the ink printing and the one that comes with the speedstir. That one is also necessary to use the sample sizer. That one is link 1.

The printed ones are easier to read than the molded graduations. Those are links 2 and 3
The FAS-DPD vial (link 2) can be used for other tests and vice-versa, but it tends to get discolored which is why it's marked and left as a dedicated test cylinder.
