Pool Novice Trying to SAVE MOM’s pool .

Did you know 1 1/2 inches isn't always 1 1/2 inches. I even took the hose that need replacing with me still didn't quit fit.

try running the end under hot water to sort of make the end that doesn't fit more pliable. I have a Solar Bear Solar heating pannel and I couldn't get my hoses on at first...kind of a cool day. the instructions said to do that. Warming the plastic hose makes it soften just a little bit and makes it expand around the fitting. Give it a try.

Thanks that is what did by accident I got frustrated and walked off leaving it on a glass table in the sun
