Nope. I bought an exterior fan with the plastic blades and the heat around here makes them pretty droopy.

There has to be someone that sells them with metal blades ... that are not ridiculously expensive. Something like BigA**Fans.com maybe? At least one of theirs is made of aluminum, but way bigger than I need and likely not very cheap.
The electrician in me says buy cheap and replace every couple years. 16 years in the trade and I think they are all junk. I'm in okla city so maybe higher end in the north. Just not worh it in the extreme temp changes.
Well, Big *** Fans makes exterior fans that move lots of air. They are made out of anodized aluminum and will not droop. They ahve a 10-year warranty with factory installation, but are expensive!
**I guess the filter does not like part of the company name.....**
I bought one with pre-droop from a big box store. It has plastic blades, and they droop from the factory. Lets just hope they don't droop more over the next few yrs. It's been up nearly a year and so far no change.
Hi all. We purchased an Emerson Carrera Veranda wet weather fan for our pergola. It gets rained on and no issues. No drooping of the blades 3 Summers later. We do take it down in the winter (we're in New England). Here is a link to the fan and where we bought it.
