New SWG pool - 0 chlorine

Hi! I used to have too much chlorine so the pool guys changed it to 10% . All of the sudden the chlorine is 0 . On the regular test and on the drop test. Pool is covered .
Where should I look? What can be the issue? Thanks

A couple things first:
1 - What is your current CYA reading?
2 - If you have zero chlorine, add some liquid chlorine ASAP. About 5 ppm worth.

Your signature is blank. What type of SWG do you have? Are there any red/warning lights noted? What is the current water temp?

I’ll add chlorine asap. I have trucell jandy pro.
I think the pool guy didn’t turn it on? I came to the unit and it showed “stand by”. I hit the power button now it’s chlorinating

Be careful that the levels are not bleaching out the reagents.

A pool with an autocover and a SWG can get FC as high as 100 ppm faster than people realize.

Dilute 1 to 1 with distilled water and try the OTO and FAS-DPD tests.

now the generator says low salt. I checked the salt level and it gave me 3 drops. the 4th drop made it brown so 600-800ppm.

Perhaps the salt is low, but if your water is cold that can mess with the salt testing at times too.

The plaster is super smooth. Completely new.

Salt is not added for 30 days after plaster.

Did salt get added already?

Was the salinity ever higher?

The level won't just suddenly drop from 3,200 ppm to 800 ppm.

I think they indeed didn’t add salt! On 1/13 the ppm was 1200. I didn’t make a fuss about it because I thought it’s normal. Now I understand what has happened.
