Hi all! My above ground pool Facebook group told me about this website. I’m a wife and mom of 3 kids. We live in rural east Texas, have a small above ground pool (15’x42”) that always turns green about mid summer. It’s in direct sun and I’ve always used strips to test. I’m determined this year to do better. I drained the pool, cleaned it, and refilled with fresh water, purchased the HTH 6 way liquid test kit, and I’ve spent days trying to lower my PH/TA before adding liquid chlorine, and now that I almost have the PH down, the walls and floor of the pool are showing some algae. Hoping to learn all I can to keep our pool crystal clear!!!
