So last year my cya was at 50 and this year I opened dumped 2 121oz of 8% while I was plumbing. 2 days later I test and these are my results

Calcium 150-160
Cya 0
I did replenish my cya and bought a big bottle which I'm hoping it was the defective because I have bought small samples before on the road and they were junk. So my question is should I add a liquid stabilizer or sold form? To get me to 40

Many of us use the simple granular stabilizer often found at places like Wal-Mart, Home Depot or Lowes in the pool section. About $16 for a 4lb container. Place the required amount in a white sock and let it soak - squeeze often to dissipate. CYA should register in about 24 hours.

Mine says 66 ounces but I would think you'd add less than the amount to see where you are in. Week. I assumed this was going to happen since last year I drained because of it being 90 hopefully I can find the happy medium
