I’m taking it to a pool store just to see what they come back with. The city wouldn’t go up that much.. that’s an insane amount

I agree it shouldn't have. But for short periods it may have.
This still doesn't explain the 1400-1600 reading in a short period of time.

Regardless, it is what it is.
If you've added enough salt to get within range and the pump has been running for at least 24 hours straight, turn on the SWG and see if it's working.

I’ll put it in this weekend, and fire it up. We will see what it does, I did take the water to the pool store , one says 2900 and the other 2300.. so based on my test too, I should be good to go. I am playing with my other levels right now, increasing cya, etc.
