Hello!
With the vast knowledge contained in this forum, I am hoping someone can help me :)
I have all this white buildup under my pool on the tile and grout. I tried a pumice stone without much effect (granted I wasn’t scrubbing super hard). How can I clean this and what can I do to avoid it? I’m in California if that makes a difference at all.
I saw mention of muriatic (?) acid on other posts but those were more stone walls, so I wasn’t sure if the treatment would be different on tile.
TIA!

Karla

Looks like you're getting evaporate scale or efflorescence under your water feature. I'd start with diluted muriatic acid and work from there. Your buildup seems localized. Kieserite blasting is much more expensive and adds sulfates to your water.
