Best time to replace liner

Kids are in pool. They informed me there are 2 good sized holes under ladder.
When is the best time to replace the liner? At the end of season or wait until
the beginning of next year?

You'll find great deals at the end of season on new liners. You can triple patch the hole this year and wait to install the new liner next year.

Double patch now, add a mat under the ladder. Check for deals over the winter then install the new one when it gets warm, but before it gets hot.
