At a loss

Went on vacation … came back to a green pool … filter making whooshing sound … returns are full flow and spitting water at the same time … had the discharge line replaced while I was gone (just rerouted a different direction) … took apart the multi port and checked connection … took apart the pump and checked impeller … all fine … anyone have any clue what to do now?

Is the water level at the skimmer right? Is the weir door jammed and not letting water into the skimmer basket allowing air .

What are/were your pool chem levels? How do you chlorinate the pool? How did you chlorinate while you were on vacation?

Skimmer pulling water just fine

Chemical levels high - slam level

husband dumped liquid chlorine in - can’t find tablets anywhere local here

I havent done a full run since I've been back. Not sure what that has to do with what seems to be air in the system ...
