I replaced my pool filter manifold today because the old one had a significant crack in it that had already been repaired once. After replacing it and turning the pool back on, the pressure went up significantly. I checked all the valves, returns, etc.... nothing was different than before. I took the filter back apart and hosed down the grids as well.... no improvement. What else could cause this change?

I can't post pics until morning. But, the filter is a Jandy 60sqft DE filter. This is the interior manifold that connects to the grids
