I need some opinions here... I currently have a Hayward T15. It is 6 years old and no longer reading correct salt values.
The new T15 is $899 on Amazon and $1300 at my local pool store.
I would like to hear from people that have purchased other alternatives.
What did you purchase?
Where did you purchase it?
How long has it lasted?
Would you purchase it again?

Thanks.

Hey there Cowdog, welcome!
-How big is your pool?
-Have you tested your salt independently of the system? I never base my decisions on my salt level on the device, but rather the K-1766 Taylor Salt Test.
-Can you do a self install, in case you change salt systems?
-Do you think the cell is bad? When did you last use it?

Thanks Yippee,
My pool is 12,000 gal - PebbleTech finish.
Yes, I have a salt meter with 3000ppm test solution. My pool reads 3400 with the meter.
My Hayward AquaPlus goes into check system every day or so. If I reset instant salt in Diagnostics; it will generate salt for about a day and then system check again.

CD,

Even at today's prices your cell cost you $150 a year..

The T15 is one of the best SWCGs you can buy.

You almost always get what you pay for..

Note that I am not even a Hayward fan..

Thanks,

Jim R.
