Started plumbing yesterday. Can someone clarify where the 2 gaskets go on the skimmer? I assume one between the liner and the skimmer body, but I don't know on the other. Maybe on the outside of the steel wall? Thanks.

More pics of progress. I hope to get the liner in on Saturday. Weather is supposed to be low 80s. Couple of questions-
1. I hired out the poolcrete bottom and I am happym with it all except the shallow area. It is very wavy and held water in several places after a light rain. I feel like this will show after the liner is installed and allow dirt/debris to settle in these low areas. I was thinking of troweling some hydraulic cement in to smooth out some of the worst areas. Is this a bad idea? By the way the bottom mix was 60/40 sand to portland cement hauled in by truck.
2. I am planning to install wall foam on the bottom of shallow end as well. Is this a bad idea? Anyone out there wish they had done this or wish they hadn't?
Thanks again. Wish me luck on the liner install. I am doing all this for the first time and this feels like a big step in the process.

Since I am doing most of the work by myself, after work and weekends, I am afraid that my window of warm weather will pass before I can get everything else ready. If so, can the pool go liner-less all winter if there is not a day warm enough for the install? What temp is too cold to install liner?
