Safe to use thrichlore tablets in pool with Sodium hypochlorite?

Thanks, my last CYA test was 35 a week ago, I'll use just a couple of tablets. The inline feeder holds 4 max and has a 1-6 dial. It was included with my pool package when I got it but I don't use it since I follow the tfp advice.

I think I might need a new pump?

I thought my pump was done after I noticed it wasn't running it turned out it was the wiring from the main breaker box to the outlet where I connect the pump. Can you test the pump on an extension cord from a different power source?

Safe to use thrichlore tablets in pool with Sodium hypochlorite?

I use the Liquid Chlorinator (Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% ) from Menards for regular day to day pool sanitation. Can I add Menards Chlorinating tablets (Trichloro-s-triazinetrione 99.3% ) to a inline chlorine feeder to maintain the pool while away for a week? Just read something about not mixing...

    Pool overflowing.

I will drain the water on top of the cover first, then the pool's. I had a layer of ice on top of the cover and tried to lower the level of water of my pool but by removing water from under the layer of ice, it dropped and started to pull down the cover.

Water level high in agp before freezing temps

I do have a pillow under the cover and I just used a manual pump to drop the water level about 2" below skimmer. I hope this will be enough to keep ice from skimmer. I just wasn't sure if removing water will settle the ice and pull down on the cover. I'll just keep an eye on the tension ofthe...

Water level high in agp before freezing temps

The water level in my agp is about level with the skimmer bottom. And on top of the winter cover there's a layer of about 4-6 inches of water and ice. Should I lower the level of water on top of the winter cover or the water off the pool, or both? And in which order if it makes a difference...

    Shifted air pillow

Mine is also off center, I don't know if the rope I tied it with broke or its just being pulled to the side since I left a bit of slack on the rope. I can't try to adjust it because there's a layer of ice on top of the pool cover.

Just adding RV antifreeze vs Blowing main drain for winter.

Frostline in northern IN is about 4' the MD of my above ground pool is about 2'deep. I wonder if the water above it acts as insulation. I just blowed out the MD and didn't add any antifreeze, hope the air stays there until next spring.

Just adding RV antifreeze vs Blowing main drain for winter.

I just finished blowing the main drain of my agp a small 2 hp (armour all) did the job. I let it run for about 1 minute. Plenty of bubbles were coming out and then closed the valve and capped the 2 openings on the valve.I didn't use the antifreeze after all since the small shop vac was enough to...

Just adding RV antifreeze vs Blowing main drain for winter.

I think antifreeze has no problem filling the main drain because is heavier than water.i will try to close my pool using this method I will post about it later.

Just adding RV antifreeze vs Blowing main drain for winter.

I found an old post about closing the pool for winter in this forum and it was discussed the easier method of just adding enough RV antifreeze to the main drain without blowing it out first and when the antifreeze starts oozing out of the main drain you just close and cap the valve for the MD. I...

salt corrosion on above ground pools

I was looking in the forum about using salt in an above ground pool to change the feel of the water and came across this message.
