    Following, considering a deep end as well. I was told to stretch the liner I shouldn't go more than 52" deep as the liners are universal.? Not too sure this is the case.

    Thank you joeself. I believe the buttress free pools have straps from side to side. I also understand a deep end will void manufacture warranty. Is this true. I guess it makes sense.

    I've decided to upgrade my intex pool with an oval aboveground pool approx 16x24. I read somewhere that you can put a deep end in an above ground pool with an expandable liner. If so how deep can it be? Has anyone done this? Thank you Tim

    I wondered if the flex line was the issue as its only 1/2". Yes opening the canister, I do have the red high temp silicone sealant as well. Yes just pressure wash the calcium out. Yes thermal regulator looks ok.

    I can see I would need to replace the gasket and o rings, what else would you think I may need. I've already had the manifold apart with no issues, everything was clean. Tested the sensors and reinstalled. Thank you for your reply!

    Took the manifold apart and found the thermal regulator was stuck open. Cleaned it put everything back fired it up and it worked again for about 2 hrs. Then E05 code again. I have one on order. I will try to get a lazer temp reader as well. Any other ideas out there?!

    Hi, where do I start, I was given a Pentair mastertemp 250 it's about 7 yrs old. Worked fine for a few weeks, now it only works intermittently. Comes on for about an hr then shuts off with the E05 code. Tried the stack flu sensor, tried acid washing the calcium out.. Still nothing. Help...

    I'm trying to find any information on how to acid wash my pool heater. I have a Pentair mastertemp 250. My flow is being blocked by calcium build up apparently. Anyone out there acid washed thier heater or pool equipment? How do I go about it?

    Thanks Dan! I spoke to a Pentair representative, he figures I have calcium build up in the heat exchanger. Hence the high temps in my stack. I agree with you, I feel the sensor is doing its job. I'll start another thread asking about acid wash your heater!

    Intex saltwater upgrade

    I live in Canada, the shipping is the same price as the unit arrrg!!!! I may try to either disconnect the cartridge filter underneath the unit or connect the two together. The separate swg has a flow rate of 1650. I figure I should be able to connect the two together and take out the cartridge
