I am no expert like some here but what is your pump pressure? I will frequently have that issue in the beginning of the season however I do have a DE filter. My solution is to backwash well then I eventually pull my filter apart and do a cleaning of the grids. Hope you get this resolved soon!

I am boosting CYA as we speak, its currently 40. FC is 2, PH 7.2, TA 80. If I remember correctly my FC was routinely around 4 last year, sometimes I would have to shut the SWG off to keep it from going to high.

Yes it is, although i am currently on at 1.5 ppm of free chlorine and I have the dial set at 100 on the SWG. 3200 is supposedly optimum for that unit and thats where it is so I will leave it alone.

Hi all, when I remove the cover on my pump to clean out the basket all of the water drains out and the pump has to re-prime itself when I turn it back on. Is this an air leak somewhere? I don't remember this happening in the past. Any thoughts?
