    Pressure plate

I need some advice. My 40x18 oval above-ground pool was installed 2 years ago. Now, in the third season, it started having issues with the channels sticking out, and to cut the story short- no pressure plates have been installed. It's either the installer was a colossal crook (likely), or the...

    Flexible hose

Appreciate the suggestions. The problem with replacing something like this yearly is that if failed after 2 seasons, it can fail after a week too. I have a 17,000-gallon pool; the stakes are too high.

    Flexible hose

I used this for about 2 seasons. It is supposedly designed for above-ground pool systems. I sprang a large leak splitting wide open. Very lucky it basically happened in front of us. Can you recommend a flexible 1.5" hose that would hold under regular pump pressure?

    Secondary filter

The water is cloudy, small particles. The pool is 40 ft long and both the skimmer and the return port are at the same end.

    Secondary filter

I have a 17,000-gallon above-ground pool. 2 HP AquaPro filter system. The pool is oval. Since the skimmer and the inflow are close to each other I don't think I get sufficient filtration. Any easy way to add additional filtration without cutting new holes into the pool?

    Ground Rod

They are not. You don't have to (you can't) bond a double-insulated pump. You do need to connect the bonding wire to the pump's GEC but that's not bonding. Regarding the other contradiction, the keyword there is "remote".

    Ground Rod

Article 680.26(b)(6)(a) (2020 but also in older editions) Exception: Metal parts of listed equipment incorporating an approved system of double insulation shall not be bonded. (a) Double-Insulated Water Pump Motors. Where a double-insulated water pump motor is installed under the provisions of...

    Ground Rod

I realize this is an old thread. The bonding and the grounding systems are connected at the pump. In the case of a double-insulated pump, the code specifically requires you to connect the bonding wire to the pump grounding wire. Also, if the panel is at another building/structure a grounding rod...

    Aquapro cartridge

Anyone can recommend a replacement cartridge for Aquapro filter system: Aquapro? Their OEM filter costs $200. Maybe it's just me but I find that ridiculous. It's 25" high, 7" in diameter.

    lining repair

Thanks. The installer disappeared. He was, as I am realizing, a self-proclaimed pool installer with clearly not much experience. I am not getting a new liner from him even if he ever returns my calls. The pool is 40x18. Stupid of me but it was hard to find an installer. Can I use something like...

    lining repair

I am new to this. I had my new pool just installed. The guy mounted the faceplates with no water in it, which I am realizing was a mistake. Now that the pool is full the return line inlet looks like this. Any suggestion how to fix this?
