Flexible hose

I used this for about 2 seasons. It is supposedly designed for above-ground pool systems. I sprang a large leak splitting wide open. Very lucky it basically happened in front of us.
Can you recommend a flexible 1.5" hose that would hold under regular pump pressure?

I looked around quite a bit. I did not find a hose that is schedule 40. I guess you could replace that hose once a year since it lasted two seasons this time.

Many people hard pipe their AGP using schedule 40 PVC for that reason.

Many have issues with hoses & their connections- thankfully mine have been ok for 5 years.
I am currently still running 1 that came with the pool

I also have some hard pvc pipe as well as some flex pvc - the flex pvc is glued like regular pvc so you would need slip fittings to use it instead of the barbed ones.

Appreciate the suggestions. The problem with replacing something like this yearly is that if failed after 2 seasons, it can fail after a week too. I have a 17,000-gallon pool; the stakes are too high.
