Putting in a new frame issue...

i wonder if i could push the track out slightly on each upright where they join? moving them just a little should make up the foot difference shouldn't it? im not sure what i can do without spending a bunch of money (finding the new track and ordering it). i do not think it would be a good idea...

Putting in a new frame issue...

Hello, last fall my frame rotted out. This spring i tore it down and found a new unopened box frame. Both are 24 foot round pools. The bottom track was never moved and we just stuck the new frame into the same track. The new frame seems to be too long...it's almost exactly 1 foot too long. I...

    Always have algae on floor?

Still slamming! I was wrong on my cya, it is only 30. I was starting to get a little cloudy when I posted this but it's crystal clear again with a little algae on the floor every day when I remove the solar cover. I brush it all the replace the cover. And make sure I'm still at shock level and...

    Always have algae on floor?

thanks everyone! i am very well aware of the charts and how they work. what i did not know was that the salt water generators actually produced chlorine for pools! that's what had me so confused. i thought for sure i was supposed to use the SWG chart since i had "salt" in my pool...

    Always have algae on floor?

No I don't have a salt generator. I use the blue solar salt bags. Judging by everyone's answer I'm slamming. ..lol I was under the impression that if I had salt in the pool it requires less chlorine? Am I wrong? If so, what's the difference from having a salt generator and just adding the...

CC-0 (even after 25ml test),PH 7.6 and still burning eyes?

Salt level is at 1990. She doesn't really go under the water. Its more when getting splashed by my daughter by accident. My daughter uses sunscreen. Could that be the issue? Or does she just have sensitive eyes?

    Adding salt to a pool.

Hello, Last year I added salt to a non Swg pool for a better feel. The thing is, I can't find where I found the info on how much to add safely without test strips for swg. I do not know much about swg systems but I assume it needs to be added regular so last years salt is long gone. BTW, I use...

    They dropped my fiberglass pool!!

I would have someone certified check it before the workers have a chance to put it back. Better yet, have it replaced by them for free. Would want to be worried about it or worse have something happen in the future? Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2

    I have a swamp

Keep at it!! Get all the crud you can out of the pool and start brushing. It may stir it up but algae can form a biofilm and make it harder for the chlorine to consume it....brush away!! Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2

Help me, I've lost the fight with Algae

yes, find a way to brush/clean as much "muck" out of the pool as possible, DAILY (or as much as you can). once you order a kit recommended do the FC test to see how much chlorine is in the pool and then post the numbers. this is a great guide on how to shock the pool using bleach...

cheaper solutions for lighting an above ground pool?

these are battery powered ones you are referring to correct? i have found these but you need to zip tie them for vinyl pools. they are for the metal frame pools. i would rather not have it "hanging" from zip ties but the floating lights seem a much better idea. any certain brands? searching...
