    SWG operation

The pool is 13,594 gallons. My pool always uses around 7 to 8 ppm of chlorine in the peak of summer, so I wanted to make sure it would cover that easily. I will put the SWCG on a separate timer if I cannot get the chlorine output needed during my pump run times. Just run it shorter times...

That makes sense. Thanks for that info.

    SWG operation

Interesting. It does not have a timer in it, so how does it relate the output to time?

    SWG operation

I usually run my pump on about 1200 RPM for most of the day, and I know it will generate chlorine at that RPM, so I will just match the SWCG to that. Thanks.

    SWG operation

I just purchased a Circupool RJ 60+ and I have a question about the best way to operate. Is it better to run it longer duration at a lower power or higher power for a shorter duration? I know I need to generate x amount of chlorine and can get there either way. Thanks

Equipment Pad Pictures.... Lets see them

I thought about that, so I put a thermometer inside to see the temperature difference between outside and inside. When it was 112 degrees outside here it was 117 inside. I do run my VS pump on low rpm most of the time and the lid on the shed does have a small gap on the sides.

Newbie, looking for saltwater capable above ground pool

Trevi makes a pool that is saltwater compatible. I do not think it is made any better than the resin Doughboy that I also looked at, but Trevi says you can run a saltwater system on some of their pools without voiding the warranty. Here is the pool I have that salt water compatible.

    Covering Hayward sand filter?

Here is mine. We get very hot here in Oklahoma also and I have not had an issue yet. It was 113 degrees here a few days ago.

I have a Dolphin Active 20 and love it. Does a great job cleaning and even climbs the walls.

Looking to upgrade to variable pump

I really like my Pentair superflow vs. I decided to go with Pentair on a pump due to their great reputation. My filter is Hayward because there is limited dealer support in my area for Pentair or I would have just got a Pentair filter also.

Walls up, no water, storm incoming

I agree with Casey. Mine did the same thing. As the water comes up the walls will go back to normal.

    Pool up, walls buckling

I have beaded liner on mine and it did similar. As the water filled up the walls went back to normal.

    Stenner with Tank Mounting

Could you put down some patio stones and place it on the other side of the heater? Obviously you would need to make sure it is far enough away from the heater to be safe.

New pool installed - Few questions

I waited a week with mine. If you don’t, you could put footprints in the bottom and it will be harder to clean due to the impressions.

    10-12% Bleach

Looks like Walmart in my area has stopped carrying 10% bleach in my area of Oklahoma City. Does anyone know where else to buy it? Home depot has some, but it is from 2017 at the store I looked at. Pool stores do not carry liquid chlorine here either. Thanks.

    FC and CYA

First off thank you to all that help in the forum. I just replaced my Intex style pool that I had a SWCG on and never had a problem maintaining FC. I did not like the SWCG because every time I back washed my sand filter, I temporarily discolored my grass. With this new pool I have installed a...

    Pentair Superflo VS questions

I have the pump. It is a true VS pump as you can Change the preset settings to any RPM. It is very quite and powerful. So far it is excellent, but I have only had it a little over a month. The main difference I found between this one and others is it can run off of 240 or 120 volt.

Yes it all sits on the composite pad, but the pad sits on concrete pavers.
