    you do have the strainer fittings pushed into those pool connections right? They go in from the inside of pool and give some rigidity to the connection. With that pump you will never get a vacuum to work consistently. Air really is not going to travel reverse up your hose from the fitting...

    Having to deal with leveling out ground on a regular basis i would say hire that part out.. It can get away from you really quick when using equipment where a professional that does it daily can have it done in a short time.

    If its wobbling side to side then the base is unstable.. You could re level those blocks, remove the block and put a bigger stone in, or use tap-con and big fender washer and screw the base down to the paver's
