We just had a new pool completed and has been running for about 30 days now. There are area on the finish that seem to have more plaster on them then other areas. I am not sure of this is from the acid wash after the finish was done, or brushing. Ultimately you see more plaster than pebble where other areas you see en even mixture if that makes sense.

That being said, would a steel brush be a bad idea to try to even it out some? Just trying to see what can be done to make it more uniform even though you only notice this in low laugh conditions.

Thank you.

A wire brush will not take off plaster but it will scratch it. I don't recommend it on new plaster.

Perfect. Good to know, thank you.

So any suggestions for what I’m referring to? Possibly run it acidic and brush more? Learn to live with it? Lol

Live with it. Nothing you will do with your water chemistry will change it.
