Hello all, I have a 36x16 vinyl lined inground pool. 6 feet in deep end and 3 in shallow. It was closed at the end of september. I am in south jersey and we had drought conditions (no rain for over 40 days) so I checked my pool and found it was low around halloween. I found it about 6 inches down. Filled it and checked it today and found it down about 4 inches since thanksgiving. Its is covered with a mesh panel in the middle.
In the summer it seemed erratic some days would seem like it was losing water some days not. I did the bucket test and found it to not be much help. The levels seemed level after one day, off a bit after 2 days. I checked the main drain with dye and found nothing, only thing I can think of is a hole in the liner that I couldnt find.
Bottom line is what are my options as of now and what should I do? I cannot get anyone to leak detect it now. My hope it I can keep filling it and open early and find someone to leak detect it. Anything I should be doing other than that? Also is there a big company that does leak detection? I reached out to a few local guys in the summer and no one would return my calls.
Thanks for any info.
