Winter cover question for pool closing

Hi,

This is my first time to close our the pool and the previous owner was not using a pool cover in winter. It was a pain cleaning it last time. I have asked around for something affordable and they have shown me like a weave type of cover. Is that a good one? wondering if that could really hold a lot of snow.

Regarding the size, I have a 15x30 size pool and also wondering what size should I get for the cover?

Could this type of covers be tied down to any post on the side or do I really need to use water bags on them?

You will have to use water bags or water blocks to hold it on, snow and water will push this cover deeper into the water. 15x30 pool should have a cover in the size of 24x40 or 24x44
