Today I was told by a pool builder to try a phosphate treatment to get rid of White Water Mold. My gut reaction is that this is like every other situation where pool pros blame phosphates for everything, but it got me thinking. Does White Water Mold thrive in the presence of Phosphates like Algae does?

I looked up what to do and it's as expected.
