We had our pool replastered yesterday. They acid washed and began filling yesterday and when I got home I noticed this spot. The pool builder said that it would clear up in a few weeks but has notified the applicator of the spot. Should I be concerned?? We had it replastered with Miami Blue Quartz.

It is hard to tell from the photo what caused the white spot, but if that spot is at the bottom of the pool, it may be the result of the acid wash leaving some plaster material on the bottom that has now hardened. I suggest that plaster company come out with scuba gear and sand that area with 100 grit sandpaper to remove it.
If the problem is something else, then the plaster company should be able to determine the problem by inspecting it personally up close.
